"We are highly experienced at solving the problems that always arise
when shooting on location, whether the location is an office building,
a kitchen or a national park" -- Photographer John Terence Turner.

John
Terence Turner's web site says he "specializes in location photography
with emphasis on action and dramatic locations."
He's
modest.
Most
location photographers would consider the back bowls at Vail a "dramatic
location." John once took his ski models up Mt. McKinley in Alaska
for his version of a "dramatic location."
When
he needed a close-up shot of the bow of a ship plowing through Puget Sound,
he didn't try to shoot it from a bridge, he climbed into a helicopter
and tethered himself out the door as the aircraft moved sideways directly
in front of the ship.
Turner
shot the well-known There is no Finish Line poster, which was
part of the initial Nike ad campaign and has won numerous awards including
the Addy, and the New York Art Directors’ Gold and Silver Awards.
Communication Arts magazine has published Turner's work. His photography
for Cummins Engine Company annual reports has also won numerous awards..
