Stock Index Online, which is published by the same company that compiles the printed Stock Index source books, lets image buyers search the libraries of about 150 stock distributors from a single web site.
With more than 2 million images, buyers can efficiently browse collections of many small distributors. It would take buyers days to locate, sign up for and search each of these libraries separately.
Images are licensed directly from participating image distributors. Stock Index Online also offers an e-mail service through which buyers can send their research requests directly to image suppliers.
