New Stock Web Site . . .

The company that publishes StockPhotographer.info has announced a new web site for photographers who license rights-managed and rights-protected imagery.

GRUSmedia, LLC, said the new RMstockphoto web site will have exclusive articles, free member galleries, discussion forums and other stock photography features.

At the same time GRUSmedia and The Stock Asylum announced an agreement to share some content. The Stock Asylum will link to Richard Weisgrau's column entitled All About Business. RMstockphoto will carry the first few paragraphs of selected Stock Asylum articles. Those interested in reading more will be able to click through to the entire article on The Stock Asylum.

RMstockphoto will have a public section that includes news, links and resources. The remainder of the site will be reserved for registered users.

The web site is currently accepting registration applications. Because RMstockphoto wants to keep discussions private and focused, each registration must be approved by the administrators.

Stock Asylum Managing Editor Ron Rovtar commented that, "We are very pleased to be working with RMstockphoto. By sharing information, we assure that both web sites provide the best possible coverage about the professional stock photography industry. The arrangement will benefit readers of both sites."

Rovtar called Weisgrau's column is an "extremely insightful feature." He noted that Weisgrau, a former executive director of the American Society of Media Photographers, is among the world's most knowledgeable experts about the business of photography."
