A regular contributor to Outdoor Photographer magazine and Petersen's Photographic, Deborah Davis first became interested in photography when she bought a camera to record her summer travels.

"It was love at first snap," she says.

She soon left her job teaching fourth grade in Columbus, Ohio, to pursue her artistic ambitions in California.

Today, her corporate client list reads like a who's who of American industry, from computer makers like Dell and Compaq, to airlines like Delta and United. Davis' photos have also been published in numerous major magazines like Time, Newsweek, GQ, Architectural Digest, Forbes and
Oprah.

For the last decade Davis has concentrated on stock photography. She is represented by Stone/Getty Images, Photonica, Workbookstock and Alamy.

Davis helped start StockArtistsAlliance, an international trade organization for stock photographers. She worked tirelessly during SAA's early days and remains an active volunteer and advisor. She also is a member of Advertising Photographers of America.

Still the teacher, Davis has led numerous classes in photography and digital imaging. Her fellow photographers often turn to her as a source of information about the digital photography revolution.
