About Elle Schuster. . . 214.526.6712 For thirty years, Texas photographer Elle Schuster has carved out a unique place for herself in the production of special effects imagery for commercial and editorial uses. Few artists can claim to communicate complex human emotions and issues with the clarity and directness that Schuster brings to her work. As a result, she has developed an incredible client list and has become a favorite lecturer at universities and photo organizations.
Her work has been featured in
many magazine and newspaper articles and has been used in a number of
books on digital imagery, including the Peachpit Press book, Digital Image
Creation: Insights Into the New Photography. With influences as diverse
as Rene Magritte and Ayn Rand, Schuster developed her style over years
of experimentation, first with studio technique and more recently with
computer imaging. Though she does many assignments, much of her work is
self-assigned fine art and stock imagery.
Schuster has produced images for clients like American Airlines, Neiman-Marcus, Northern Telecom, Sinar Cameras and American Express. Editorial clients include Time, U.S. News and World Report, the Washington Post, Omni and Psychology Today. She is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers, Advertising Photographer of America, Stock Artists Alliance and Editorial Photographers. Her stock photography is represented by Mira and Getty Images.
