Your privacy is very important to The Stock Asylum and we want you to understand how we use any information we collect about you.
The Stock Asylum does not share any information we collect about you with any other person or company for any purposes including, but not limited to, spamming, advertising, or in any way harassing you. The Stock Asylum would consider providing information about you to a court of competent jurisdiction if so ordered by that court. At this time, there are only four ways in which we collect specific information about our users. First, those who choose to view a large version of any image in our image catalog are asked to fill out a form with name, e-mail and other information; Second, we collect information from those who sign up for the newsletter portion of our website, whether they pay for the newsletter feature or not; Third, we do keep records of people who contact us by e-mail. Contact information and other information is used to inform our users by mail and e-mail, of new features at The Stock Asylum web site and to keep users informed about information available through our newsletter articles and features. We generally use PayPal to handle credit card transactions involving our newsletter subscription service. However, at the request of a subscriber, we accept credit card purchases by phone, mail or e-mail. We also accept payment by check, where appropriate. We adhere to the wishes of users who request we do not contact them in any specific manner. The final way we collect specific information has to do only with people and companies advertising on The Stock Asylum. In these cases we do collect certain financial information including credit card numbers. This information is kept in our offices and is not a part of our web site.
In addition, we collect non-identifying information concerning the browsing habits of our users and use this information to improve our web site and share with advertisers. We never identify you individually to our advertisers, even when we know who you are.
Protecting children is very important to us and we never collect or maintain information from those we know to be under 13 years of age. No part of our web site is designed to attract children.
We will be happy to provide you with any and all information we have collected about you if you contact us with proof of your identity. Upon your request, we will correct or eliminate any information about you in our databases.
